Shipping options

Japa Works ships from Massachusetts through USPS within the United States.

Paid shipping is priced individually based on the destination, packed weight, outside box dimensions, and selected USPS service. Charges are shown at checkout or in your custom-house quote before payment.

Standard shipping

Standard shipping uses USPS Ground Advantage. Orders containing only regular products qualify for free standard shipping when the regular-product subtotal is $70 or more after discounts, excluding shipping and tax.

House miniatures never qualify for free shipping. For a house miniature and regular products purchased together in the same final order, you pay the house shipping charge only. The regular products receive free standard shipping without a minimum subtotal, even when they ship in separate boxes.

The photo assessment and reservation are not a purchased house miniature and do not unlock this mixed-order benefit. Ask us to include any regular products in your final house order so the benefit can be applied to your quote.

Rush shipping

USPS Priority Mail is available at the rate calculated for your order. This upgrades the mailing service but does not move your order ahead in production. It does not guarantee an earlier arrival than Standard shipping. Free standard shipping does not include this upgrade.

Emergency service

Emergency service uses USPS Priority Mail Express at the calculated postage rate, plus a separate $25 priority-production fee per order. Availability and an achievable ship-out schedule must be confirmed by Japa Works before the emergency upgrade is accepted.

The $25 fee pays for priority handling by Japa Works, not USPS postage. It does not guarantee same-day production or a specific arrival date. Any USPS delivery commitment depends on the destination, selected service and when USPS accepts the package.

If we cannot accept the emergency request, you can choose another shipping option without paying the $25 fee. Free standard shipping does not cover emergency postage or the priority-production fee.

Production and delivery

Custom miniatures normally require at least five business days after final design approval and payment. Business days are Monday through Friday. Larger projects and our order queue may require more time. We confirm your estimated ship-out schedule before you authorize production.

Emergency production follows a different schedule only when we expressly confirm it. Carrier transit time is additional. A preferred ship-out date is a request, not a guaranteed arrival date.

If we cannot meet the agreed shipping schedule, we will contact you with an updated date and applicable options to accept the delay or cancel for a refund.

Any protective-packaging charge will be disclosed separately before payment. Tracking details will be emailed when available.
